DELIVERY DETAILS - UK
We endeavour to post orders within 2 working days unless we are expecting a delivery of an out of stock item. Although we do our best to maintain sufficient stock levels, we cannot guarantee stock availability at all times. If orders are required by a certain date please inform us when ordering.
VAT at 20% is included in the price of goods where applicable. VAT (where applied) is deducted from orders delivered to the Channel Islands and Countries outside the EU.
Orders over £50 and weighing less than 1900grms are postage free (this does not include items with sale or trade prices, classes, tutorials or gift vouchers). Mainland UK only and applies to only 1 parcel per delivery, not in conjunction with any other discounts given - this includes Sale or Special priced items. Free postage is given for standard post (e.g. orders weighing less than 1900g will be sent by Royal Mail).
Orders over £100 posted to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands will be given an 8% discount. (Applies to only 1 parcel per delivery, not in conjunction with any other discounts given - this includes Sale or Special priced items, Gift Vouchers, Classes and Tutorials)
POSTAL SERVICES - PLEASE READ THE POSTAL SERVICE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY BEFORE CHOOSING
Orders under 1900g are sent by Royal Mail First class service.
Parcels over 1900g are sent by UK Mail or DPD Courier 24 hour delivery service, (from the date of shipping - 1 working day excluding weekends) - mainland UK only. Highlands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands have a 2 day service (from the date of shipping). Courier services do require a signature. If you are not going to be in please inform us with alternative delivery instructions (leave with a neighbour or "can be left.......")
Royal Mail, Guaranteed Next Day (UK only) service means next working day (unless Saturday option is requested). Unfortunately, due to the present circumstances, it is no long 'Guaranteed' Next Day Delivery. Please order before 10.30 am. If ordering with this service please leave a daytime telephone number so we contact you if there is any problem
We can no longer send aerosol spray cans by Royal Mail. Any orders containing these items will have to be sent by courier and would incur courier postal charges.
Orders are sent by Royal Mail, UK Mail or DPD - we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the postal system.
Please note that orders for DPD next day delivery, must be received in the shop before 10.30 am - Monday to Friday.
If orders sent by Royal Mail standard service are not received within 21 working days from date of dispatch a replacement order will then be sent at no extra charge. Customers wishing their orders to be sent again within this time period will have to pay again for their order including the postage. A refund of the goods will be given after 21 working days or when the missing parcel is returned to us whichever is the soonest. We should be advised of any damage to your order within seven working days from receipt of your order.
Please Note: - Orders will be dispatched to the address entered in at the ‘Ship to’ stage at the checkout We cannot take responsibility for orders not being received due to an incorrect address being entered. Once you have placed your order please check that the shipping address on your confirmation email is correct, please contact us immediately (by phone or email) if this is not the case. Failure to do so will result in delay and the customer being charged the full re-delivery cost should your parcel not be received or returned to us.
POSTAL CHARGES FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS.
Orders to countries outside the UK will be charged for postage according to weight and destination. We are unable to post flammable products (for example, confectioners glaze, glaze cleaner and aerosols) overseas for health and safety reasons. For goods being sent outside the UK, it is for the customer to ensure that their goods are allowed for use in their location. Please note:- Royal Mail shipping - Standard Service is NOT tracked. If you would like you order tracked please use the Tracked for service.
Any discounts given will not be included on Classes, Sale items, Tutorials or Gift vouchers
PACKAGING To help the environment and to keep costs down we pack orders in recycled boxes and use recycled packaging.
FAULTY OR WRONGLY DELIVERED ITEMS
If any items are wrongly delivered you must inform us as soon as possible. Following notification, goods should be returned to us a soon as is possible, identified with your name, address, postcode and invoice number. Their good condition remains your responsibility until we take delivery. The cost of returning goods is to be borne by the customer. If it is confirmed that the delivery was in error or that the goods are faulty your rights under the Sale of Goods Act etc will be upheld
Non-stock items can be specially ordered but are not returnable.
'TO FOLLOW' ITEMS
If we should be out of any item and you do not wish to wait for the item to come into stock we will refund you for that item at the time of shipping the rest of the order. If you wish to be sent the out of stock item when it comes into stock it will incur a reduced postal charge of £1.75 (Royal Mail postage only). You may add other items for this postage charge up to the Royal Mail postage weight of 1900gms.
CANCELLATION RIGHTS AND RETURNS (UK only)
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 you have the right to return most unused goods for any reason within 7 working days of the day following your receipt of the goods. We must receive notification of your intention to cancel in a durable medium – letter, email or fax (not telephone) within that time period. We request that you make clear whether you are returning the goods because of a fault or incorrect delivery, or for any other reason. Following notification, goods should be returned to us a soon as is possible and their good condition remains your responsibility until we take delivery. The cost of returning goods cancelled under the Distance Selling Regulations is to be borne by the customer. However, if you exercise your cancellation rights in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price and initial delivery costs. This right of cancellation does not extend to food items (including colouring and dusts) whether opened or unopened, ribbon (once cut) and videos or DVD’s.
RESTRICTIONS Where the order concerns knives, bladed articles, and alcohol by placing an order you confirm that you are over the age of 18. We reserve the right to amend prices without prior notice
